Jay Weinland is happy both to be back again at Theater Schmeater this season after a long hiatus and to be working with longtime friend Russ Banham. Previous to Crooked, Jay sound designed A Winter’s Tale, 1918, and various Twilight Zone episodes back in the day (last century I believe). A sound designer and musician in Seattle for the past 20 years he has also designed at Seattle Public Theater, Book-It, Arts West, Exchange Theater, and Civic Light Opera as well as performing countless shows in the orchestra pit at Village Theater and CLO. Jay fills most of his days sound designing for video games, most recently on the award winning Xbox series Halo, leaving as much time as possible for his lovely wife Heather Hawkins and two wonderfully crazy children. 1/2011
