Theater auditions - Seattle

Theater Schmeater announces a call for submissions for the company's summer park show, The Wind in the Willows, adapted and directed by J. D. Lloyd. We are seeking actors and actresses with dance, fight, and improv skills to play dancing ducks, fighting weasels and other animal characters.

Where: Theater Schmeater, 1500 Summit Avenue, Seattle, WA.

When: Wednesday, May 21 (appointments required)

Auditions will consist of; some improv games and cold readings from the script. Audition appointments are required. To let us know of your interest in the production, please email a headshot and resume to casting@schmeater.org. Alternatively, you can mail or drop off your headshot and resume to:

Wind in the Willows tells the story of Mr. Toad and his steadfast friends Mr. Badger, Water Rat, and Mole as they face the challenges of Toad's obsession with motor cars and the wicked weasels of the wild wood!

Rehearsals begin May 28, 2008. The show opens at the amphitheater in Volunteer Park on July 11 and runs Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 5:00 pm through August 10.

ROLES: We are looking for Actors to play multiple roles that will include dance and fight choreography.

Theater Schmeater is an all-volunteer, non-Equity, non-profit theater company. All production participants receive travel reimbursement up to $50 per production.
